  1. Interest requests arrive in «Offers» with a notification; accept or decline each one.
  2. Talk to the buyer on the platform only; any external number or email is blocked.
  3. You accept or reject the formal offer, then the buyer confirms it within 7 days.
  4. Once confirmed, the deal file opens for the contract, payment and handover.

Once your listing is live, interest requests start to arrive. This page explains what to do with each request, how to negotiate and meet the buyer on the platform, and what happens when you accept an offer.

From the Deals section of the sidebar:

  • Offers: interest requests and formal offers on your project.
  • Conversations: all your communication with buyers.
  • Meetings: your proposed and confirmed meetings.

When a buyer taps «Interested», the request reaches Offers with a notification. It holds their message, their answers to your questions if you set any, and their identity-verification status.

  1. Review the request

Read the buyer’s message and answers.

  2. Accept or decline

Accepting opens a private conversation between you; declining closes the request. You decide who reaches you.

In the conversation you answer the buyer’s questions, share files, and agree the terms.

When the deal gets close, propose a video meeting on the platform or an in-person one. 15 minutes before it, a bar with a join button appears at the top of the conversation, and afterwards a card shows how it went. Meetings & bookings

A formal offer is made in the conversation with the amount, and the stake if the deal is for a share. The verified buyer makes it, and you can also make an offer from your side. On the buyer’s offer you can:

  • Accept it.
  • Reject it, then make an offer from your side if you want. One offer is pending at a time.

If you made your price or stake non-negotiable in Customize, the buyer can’t propose a different amount or percentage.

  1. The buyer confirms within 7 days

After you accept, the buyer has 7 days to confirm, and we remind them before it runs out. If they don’t confirm, no contract is created, and you can agree a new offer.

  2. The deal file opens

On confirmation, the deal file opens and the contract is prepared: from your active sale-contract template, or prepared and uploaded by you if you have no template. Contract templates

  3. Signing, payment, handover

You sign first, then the buyer; then payment, handover and close. Contract, payment & commission

One page both parties live in until close. At the top, «What you need to do now» and a single button for the next step; below it, the stage bar (Preparing, Signing, Payment, Handover, Closed) with each stage’s date. The current section is open, and the others fold to a line saying their state. The «Tour» button walks you through the page.

Your listing page has a public question-and-answer area. A signed-in buyer asks, you answer, and the question is published with your answer right away to everyone who opens your listing page, including visitors who aren’t signed in. This is separate from the private conversation that opens when you accept an interest request.

  1. You get the notification

«A buyer asked about your opportunity», with the text of the question.

  2. Open the questions

In Manage project a «Buyer questions» section shows when you have questions, with how many wait for your answer.

  3. Write your answer and publish it

Tap «Publish answer». The answer shows on your listing page as «Project owner», and the asker gets a «Your question was answered» notification.

Illustration: write your answer, then publish it to show as «Project owner».

Don’t put a phone number, an email or an outside contact link in the answer; publishing is blocked. A long unbroken run of digits reads as a phone number, so write the amount in words, such as: 850 thousand.

If your answer is late:

  • After 24 hours you get one reminder as a notification and a message, between 9 am and 10 pm Riyadh time. It follows the «Reminders» setting in your notification settings.
  • After 72 hours with no answer, the system alerts the Mumtalakat team, who can answer the question or hide it.

Let our team run your deal

Our team handles the marketing, buyer screening, negotiation and follow-up for you until signing, on a request the team reviews.

Can I negotiate with more than one buyer?

Yes, you can have conversations with several buyers at the same time, within your plan’s limits.

The buyer didn't confirm within 7 days

The acceptance lapses and no contract is created. You can keep talking and agree a new offer.

I want to change terms after the contract is created

From the deal file, request to reopen it for changes. The change applies only once the buyer agrees.
