The first question when you register your project: what kind of listing is it? Your choice decides the questions you’re asked, the documents required, and how your listing appears to buyers.
The five types
Section titled “The five types”Idea
An idea or early-stage project, offered in full or in part.
Partial sale — growth
A running, growing business. You sell a stake and stay in, to expand or bring in a partner.
Full sale / exit
You exit by selling the business outright, selling a large stake, or through an acquisition. The buyer takes over a working business with its customers and revenue.
Merger
You merge with another business or look for a strategic partner, without a full sale.
Digital asset
A brand identity, a trademark, a commercial registration, a store, an app, a website or a domain.
When to choose each type
Section titled “When to choose each type”| Type | Choose it if | What you’re mainly asked |
|---|---|---|
| Idea | The project hasn’t started operating, or has only just begun | The idea’s stage, and what you’re offering of it |
| Partial sale — growth | The business runs and you want a partner without leaving | Figures and operations, the stake on offer, and the partner you want |
| Full sale / exit | You want to sell outright, step out, or have a buyer acquire the business | Figures and operations, the exit type (full sale, partial sale or acquisition), the sale details and the reason |
| Merger | You’re after a merger or a strategic partner | Project details, the kind of partner, and what you want from them |
| Digital asset | You’re selling a brand, store, app, website or domain | Proof that you own the asset, instead of full company documents |
Documents depend on your activity
Section titled “Documents depend on your activity”Alongside the type, the activity document differs:
- Commercial register: for businesses registered with the Ministry of Commerce.
- Freelance permit: for activities licensed under it.
- No activity document: for an idea that isn’t registered yet; your verified ID is enough.
- Digital asset: proof you own the asset itself, such as the domain, store or accounts.
