Customize & Privacy
The Customize page on Mumtalakat and its six groups: who sees your listing, what shows before signing, interest and offers, listing appeal, place in the list, and your notifications. Plus the difference between hiding the name and hiding the price.
- The customize page has six groups that control what a buyer sees about your project.
- Hiding the project name hides identity only; hide the price and figures under «What shows before signing».
- Keep items hidden until the buyer signs the NDA.
- Before publishing, set the first two groups and preview your listing as a buyer.
From Manage project → Customize you control everything a buyer sees about your project. The page has six groups, each answering one question. On a large screen, an «As a buyer sees it» preview sits beside it and updates with every change.
1) Who sees your listing
Section titled “1) Who sees your listing”| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Visible without an account | Your listing is on the public Opportunities page and in search results. Turn it off to show it to registered buyers only |
| Accepting new interest requests | Turn it off to pause the «Interested» button. The listing stays visible and open requests are untouched |
| Buyers can open a conversation | With their request, a buyer can choose to message you directly instead of waiting for your approval |
| Buyers sign the NDA before the details | The figures, the sale reason and the customer list show only after signing. Recommended |
| Hide your project’s name and logo | Buyers see your alternative title until they sign the NDA: on the card, the listing page and in chat |
| Alternative title | What a buyer reads instead of your name, e.g. «Specialty coffee roastery in Riyadh» |
2) What shows before signing
Section titled “2) What shows before signing”For each item you choose: shown to everyone, or hidden until the buyer signs the NDA.
- Asking price: hidden, the buyer reads «Shown after signing the NDA» instead of the figure.
- Minimum partnership entry: the smallest amount you accept from a partner. Not used on a full sale.
- Revenue and profit: annual sales and net profit.
- Team size.
- Exact location: hidden, the buyer sees the region only, not the city or branches.
- Reason for selling.
- Photos: hidden, the buyer sees the cover only, and the rest after signing.
- Video, the project story, and market and competitors.
3) Interest and offers
Section titled “3) Interest and offers”- Questions buyers answer first: shown when a buyer taps «Interested»; you read the answers before deciding. Up to 6.
- Automatic welcome message: reaches the buyer the moment you accept their interest.
- Response time: buyers see, for example, «usually replies within 24 hours» on your listing. Keep to what you choose.
- The price is negotiable and the share is negotiable: turn them off to make your price or share final, so a buyer can’t propose a different amount or percentage.
- Block buyers: anyone whose email or phone you add can’t open your listing or express interest.
4) Listing appeal
Section titled “4) Listing appeal”- Cover photo: the first photo in your gallery leads your listing everywhere. Change it from Visual identity.
- Watermark on photos: the Mumtalakat mark on every photo, so they’re harder to copy. Removing it depends on your plan.
- Highlight tags: short words on your card such as «Ready to hand over», shown in search too.
- Listing FAQ: answer what every buyer asks once, and the answers show on your listing. Up to 8.
- A short video about the project: from YouTube or Vimeo, or upload a clip. You choose: everyone, or after signing.
- Brochure: a PDF the buyer downloads. You choose: everyone, or after signing.
5) Place in the list
Section titled “5) Place in the list”- Refresh my listing: brings your listing back to the top of «Newest». Every 14 days, daily on paid plans.
- Automatic refresh: we refresh it for you whenever it ages, so it doesn’t sink in the list.
- Boost your listing: top of the buyer results with a «Featured» badge.
- Pause the listing: it disappears from buyers and nothing is lost, data or conversations. Resume any time. Interested buyers can ask to be told when it returns.
- Automatic stop date: your listing stops by itself on the date you choose, and we remind you before.
6) Your notifications
Section titled “6) Your notifications”- What reaches you: for each kind of notification, inside the platform, and by email right away, in the weekly summary, or not at all.
- Sunday summary: one email every Sunday morning with what happened on your listing that week.
