In a minute
  1. The commission pays for the brokerage service, and falls on the project owner alone.
  2. It becomes due when the final contract is signed and the owner receives the payment or part of it.
  3. Closing a deal off the platform with a buyer Mumtalakat introduced does not cancel the commission.
  4. Accept the current brokerage agreement before 13 November 2026 so your listing keeps running.

The commission on Mumtalakat is not a fee for being listed; it is payment for the brokerage service: we introduce the project owner to buyers, provide the tools to negotiate, sign and pay, and keep a record of every step. It is only due when a deal happens.

Details
Who pays? The project owner alone
How much? A percentage of the total deal value set by the brokerage agreement, plus VAT
When is it due? When the final deal contract is signed and the owner has received the deal amount or part of it. With instalments, in proportion to what is actually collected
How is it paid? In a ضامن deal it is deducted from the owner’s share at release. With a direct transfer, from the commissions page against a tax invoice

Conversations, offers and meetings all happen inside Mumtalakat, and phone numbers, emails and social handles are blocked automatically, even numbers written out in words. This isn’t red tape: what happens on the platform stays on record for any dispute, and protects both sides.

This includes:

  • Closing the deal off the platform with a buyer you met on it.
  • Closing it with someone linked to that buyer or acting for them, such as relatives or an entity they own or control.
  • Deliberately delaying the deal until the period runs out.

If you close a deal with a buyer we introduced, tell us about it from the commissions page («Report a deal you closed»): pick the buyer and enter the value and what you received, and the commission is shown before you send.

The project owner accepts the brokerage agreement in the app: they read the full text, then agree, and a PDF is produced from that same text.

  1. If you signed an earlier version

A window asks you to accept the current version. Your earlier agreement stays in force until you do.

In the app: this step is on the website only; the app opens it in the browser for you.

  2. Accept it before 13 November 2026

Accepting is mandatory to keep your listing live. After that date, a live listing pauses until its owner accepts; a deal already under way is not affected.

  3. Your listing returns as soon as you accept

If your listing paused for this reason, it comes back automatically when you accept.

Project owner Everything that happens on the platform protects your rights. Taking the deal off the platform doesn’t cancel the commission; it only loses your record.
Buyer The commission isn’t yours to pay. Contact on the platform protects you too, and in ضامن deals keeps your money held until you receive what you bought.
