  1. Verify your account early: an offer with an amount and the NDA both need verification.
  2. Browse, filter and save, then press «Express your interest» and pick your route.
  3. Negotiate inside the chat: an offer lapses after 72 hours if no one replies.
  4. If your offer is accepted, confirm it within 7 days so the contract can be prepared.

Press «Express your interest» on the project page and choose your path:

Conversation

The best way to start: ask questions and learn about the project without naming an amount.

Direct offer

You name your offer from the start. Needs a verified account.

Then:

  • If the project requires an NDA, you sign it first, before your request is sent. See NDA & disclosure.
  • Answer the qualifying questions if the owner set any. Clear answers help them see you are serious.
  • Mind the minimum partnership amount if the owner set one: a lower amount is not accepted.
  1. Ask and review

All contact stays on the platform. Phone numbers, email addresses and social handles are not sent, even numbers written out in words.

  2. Set up a meeting if you need one

From «Book a meeting» in the conversation you propose a time, and the other side accepts or declines. Meetings take place inside Mumtalakat. See Meetings.

  3. Make your offer

Set the amount and your terms. An offer lapses after 72 hours without a reply, and you can make a new one at any time.

  4. Confirm within 7 days

If the owner accepts your offer, confirm it within 7 days so the contract is prepared. If you don’t, the acceptance lapses.

What does the project owner see about you?

Section titled “What does the project owner see about you?”
  • Your first and second name and your answers to the qualifying questions.
  • Never your phone number or email, at any stage.
  • With a paid buyer plan they also see the «Distinction» badge and your verified identity. See Plans.
Do I pay anything to browse or apply?

No. Browsing, saving, interest requests, offers, negotiation and alerts are free and unlimited. The two paid plans add your standing with the seller and tools such as comparison. See Plans.

Can I withdraw my interest?

Yes, from your requests page. If the conversation is already open, tell the owner there that you won’t continue.

When am I committed?

Opening a conversation and making offers doesn’t commit you to a deal. Confirming an accepted offer starts the contract, so only confirm when you mean it.
