16–24 October 2026The app, new pages and monthly buyer plans

For both sides

• Mumtalakat on iPhone: download the app from the App Store and sign in with the same account; notifications reach you instantly.
• Easier sign-in and sign-up: redesigned sign-in and account pages that work in dark mode and on phones. Create your account
• Expert sessions in the Mumtalakat room: book from the expert’s own hours and join the session from inside the platform. Meetings
• Redesigned opportunity pages: the opportunities page and the city and sector pages, which now mention sale, acquisition and exit.

For project owners

• A new home: the top shows your project now, what is waiting on you, your week and your plan. Platform tour

For project owners

• Try Featured free for 10 days: no card and no charge. Start it from your dashboard whenever you like, or it starts by itself when your first listing goes live. It comes with a 30-minute session with an expert in selling businesses. Details
• Four new plans: Essentials, Featured, Growth and Business, with a launch offer until 9 December 2026. If you already subscribed, your plan keeps its limits until its term ends. Plans
• A clearer plans page: a short description for each plan and the option to pay in 4 instalments. The free plan is no longer shown to new accounts; owners who have it keep it. Pricing page
• The new brokerage agreement: read the full text and accept it inside the platform, with a PDF produced from that same text. Owners who signed an earlier version accept the new one before 13 November 2026 to keep their listing live. Commission protection

For both sides

• The new deal file: contract, payment and handover on one page, with a stage bar, a «Your next step» card and a short tour of the file. Contract, payment & handover
• Paying through ضامن: in new contracts that carry the ضامن clause, the deal amount is deposited in a neutral escrow account held by ضامن, and doesn’t reach the owner before the transfer of ownership and the buyer’s confirmation, or the end of the objection window. This includes contracts built on the owner’s own template.
• Meetings inside the conversation: a «The meeting is open now» bar at the top of the conversation with a join button, and a card after the meeting with the next step.
• Our team’s attendance is visible: if a Mumtalakat staff member attends a deal meeting to follow up, both sides see that they are there for as long as they attend.
• Stronger contact protection: phone numbers are blocked in conversations even when written out in words.
• One legal version: the terms, privacy policy, refund policy, listing policy and sale-contract template were updated, and you accept them once, in a single window. Policies

• Clearer in-product explanations: the cards behind the «i» marks now picture what they explain, and their «Learn more» link opens the matching page of this guide, such as performance.
• Guided tours that point at what they explain: the tour card sits beside the element and points to it, and tells you which step you are on («Step 2 of 5»).
• Your plan’s usage at a glance: the plan card in the sidebar shows your plan’s name and how many of its projects you have used. Plans

• Sign in with X and Apple: sign in or create your account with X or Apple alongside Google and email, and add either as a second account from the account switcher.
• A clearer sign-in page: email and password first, with the sign-in providers grouped beneath them.
• Plans say more: the plans page now lists capabilities that were available but unlisted: meetings, identity verification, the referral programme, the services store and edit requests.
• Buying basics are free and unlimited: unlimited interests, offers and messages, with instant alerts, for every buyer. Buyer plans

• A bigger gallery: the gallery photo cap scales with your plan, up to 30 photos on Business.

• Share your project in one tap: share your listing link on WhatsApp straight from the dashboard.
• Faster sign-in: a quick picker for your saved accounts on the same device.

June 2026

• Broader project types: listing digital assets (stores, apps, domains) and registering with a freelance permit. Project types
