In a minute
  1. Every event has two channels: the bell inside the platform, and email.
  2. Set your email under «Settings → Preferences»; turning a switch off stops email only.
  3. Deal notifications that carry a deadline or an amount always arrive.
  4. For phone notifications, allow them in the iPhone settings.

Every event on Mumtalakat has two channels: the bell inside the platform, and email. The bell always shows everything; you choose what reaches your inbox. In the iPhone app you also get notifications on your phone.

In Settings → Preferences, whether you are a buyer or a project owner. The same page holds language, theme (light or dark) and notification sound; the sound applies only to the device you are using.

If you install the iPhone app, Mumtalakat asks whether you want notifications on your phone. You get them when someone replies, your offer moves or a meeting is coming up, and buyers also get a new opportunity in their sectors.

Switch Controls
Projects Updates to your project and edit requests
Document requests Document requests and NDAs
Interests & offers Interest requests, offers and replies
Deals & contracts Contract signing status and deal stages
Meetings Meeting proposals, accept/decline/cancel and reminders
Reminders & nudges Account set-up, deal follow-ups and subscription renewals
Weekly digest A weekly email with your most important activity

Events that touch the deal directly, with a deadline or money attached, so their email can’t be turned off:

  • An offer accepted or rejected, and the buyer confirming an accepted offer.
  • An offer lapsing at its deadline, or an acceptance lapsing unconfirmed.
  • The project owner asking for details before signing the contract.
  • Updates on services you bought.
  • A smart alert matching a new project. To stop it, pause the alert itself.

If you use Private deals (an offer page under your own identity that you send to a client), it has its own alert list where you can mute what you don’t need: offer viewed, accepted, declined, a question on it, expired, follow-up reminder, and stalled deal.
