  • One account on the website and in the app.
  • Notifications reach your phone once you allow them.
  • Subscriptions go through the App Store for most plans; the Business plan is website-only.
  1. Open the app page

On your phone, open Mumtalakat on the App Store.

The app offers four options:

Email and password

With “Forgot password?” when you need it.

Apple

Sign in with your Apple account through the system sheet.

Google

Sign in with your Google account through the system sheet.

New account

Starts with your mobile number and a code we send you, then you complete your details.

The bar at the bottom of the screen depends on your account type.

  • Home
  • Manage
  • Chats
  • Offers

Meetings are not in the bar. Open them from the Meetings strip on Home.

  • Home
  • Discover
  • My requests
  • Chats

Saved and meetings are not in the bar. Open them from two strips on Home.

Once you start using the app, Mumtalakat asks whether you want notifications and explains what you will get. Then iOS shows its own question. Tap Allow.

A project owner gets a notification when:

  • Someone replies to their message.
  • They have an unfinished draft, plus a weekly summary of their listing’s views.
  • Their offer moves: a new offer, an acceptance or a contract step.
  • A meeting is coming up, with a button to join.

A buyer gets a notification when:

  • A project is listed in the sectors they picked.
  • A project owner replies to their question or interest request.
  • A meeting is coming up, with a button to join.
  • They receive a reminder about an opportunity they viewed before reaching out, and about similar ones later.

For email and bell details, see Notifications.

You subscribe from Plan & billing in the app. Payment and subscription management are handled by Apple. Prices are on the project plans and buyer plans pages.

Account Plans available in the app
Project owner Essentials, Featured and Growth, billed yearly
Buyer Distinction and Enterprise, billed monthly

If you subscribed on the website, the app shows your plan and asks you to manage it on the website. If your plan belongs to a workspace, the workspace owner manages it.

  1. Open Apple subscription management

From Plan & billing in the app, or from Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your phone.

Some steps are completed in the browser inside Settings, such as steps that need extra verification with a passkey or Face ID. The same goes for managing a subscription that started on the website, and for subscribing to the Business plan. See Account security.

Turn on Unlock with Face ID in the account settings inside the app. After that, the app asks for Face ID or your phone passcode every time it opens. If Face ID is unavailable or fails, it asks for your phone passcode.

Notifications are not arriving. What do I do?

Open Settings → Mumtalakat → Notifications on your phone and check that Allow Notifications is on. Then close the app and open it again so it registers your phone for notifications. If it still fails, write to Support.

Is there an Android app?

No. Use the website at app.mumtalakat.sa from your phone’s browser.

Do I need a new account for the app?

No. Sign in with your existing account and your projects and chats are there.

I subscribed in the app and want to cancel

From Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your phone, as in the manage section above.
